DW: I can't please everyone... blame Mr Horner! I had to check every selection to work out the least disruptive option...

YZ: Don't worry, got rid of LAW another way :D

YZ: Hold up... so I had a valid team selection with TSU, but now end up with LAW? Wasn't it the case we kept the driver/s we had selected and they just swapped the team?

DW: Always a contentious issue when drivers swap! Do the stars stay with the driver or remain at the team? In this case DW has just swapped the names so LAW at RED is now TSU and vice versa... each have kept the points they had accrued. This maintains the integrity of F1DT selections, otherwise someone may have ended up with an illegal squad of VER/TSU or LAW/HAD and the star ratings would have exceeded the limits. The best option is for F1 to stop this nonsense...

PL: So, do Lawson and Tsunoda keep their original star ratings?

DW: Points now in from Jeddah...

YZ: Cheers DW. Hopefully the pack comes good on Sunday, especially after Nando's prang :(.

DW: Full dog power restored...

YZ: Major problem. Just realised I missed the s off the end of my team name :(. I'm down at least a couple of dog power (no horses here).

PL: Best quote from last weekend's commentary "Max Verstappen seems to drive everyone else's car as well as his own"

DW: The points are in from Bahrain... everything should be updated this week!

DW: Still working on the prizes shown on the Entry List tab... a few are missing!

DW: Points on the Analysis tab now fixed...

DW: Again... leave it with me.

LB: Hi DW, total points scored isn't right in the analysis. Just showing total for last race :o)

DW: LC - I can do that ... leave it with me!

LC: Hey DW, is there any plans to add 'Sprint finish' trophies to our TP record. Was delighted with my first non-rookie trophy last year, would love to see it reflected.

DW: The scores are in... and with 20 finishers they are fairly similar.

DW: Sorry DI... it's a triple header and I need to keep up to date... scores in the morning.

DW: You know that it was a dull "race" when the drivers watch the highlights and say... "Was that it?"

DW: 11 stoppers... all revealed on the League table!

DI: Nine stoppers now!

DW: Including the leader, the reigning champion and the great DI himself.

DI: And now three pit-stops!

DW: I'm pleased it's working...

DI: And our leader makes a stop!

DW: The Pit Lane is now OPEN with the two driver changes made... Should all be fine but let me know if there are issues!

DI: I suspect we won't see a rush for TSU at 3.5 stars or LAW at 2.5 stars - but I could be wrong!

DW: After much consideration, DW has decided that those with LAW will get TSU at 3.5 stars and those with TSU will get LAW at 2.5 stars. Make of that what you will but it keeps the selections legal and avoids two drivers from the same team...

DW: The pit lane will be operational on Friday... proving troublesome!

DI: And perhaps those in contention for the Turner will want to ditch TSU (if they have him) and bring in LAW?

DI: Will we see a rush to TSU in the pit-stop? Now (apparently) a Red Bull driver ranked one assumes with 2.5 stars! While Lawson might become a Racing Bull driver with 3.5 stars!

DW: Technical challenges with the pit lane... it will be ready as soon as I can... plenty of time until Japan.

DW: Pit lane will open tomorrow evening - DW is having technical troubles with that!

DW: The points are in from China... and the Sprint race - all is revealed on the League tab!

DI: HAM, LEC and GAS all disqualified! So anyone with a Ferrari driver or the team will suffer. Could affect things!

DW: Sprint points later today and then the race scores after penalties have been applied...

DW: The points from an eventful Melbourne are in... and the 2025 grid is complete.

DI: What DW says goes - see the last sentence of the rules!

DW: There may also be a few late entries... DW has concluded that the Australian result doesn't give an unfair advantage to late comers!

DW: Whilst I know you're desperate for the points and it's another race weekend, there may be a slight delay but no pits stops until after China anyway!

DI: From PL's comments sounds like there might be a few DI entries this week in Private Eye's "Commentatorballs" column..

PL: Comments heard during the commentary this race weekend. "It's never good the be overtaken by your engine and gearbox". "His tyres have gone off like last weeks milk". " They're all following the goat track" (dry line)

DI: And the Murdoch household have the first entrant (John) and the last entrant (George). Surely notable!

DW: Points on Monday...

DW: DW has joined the party... but there's still a few hours for any final entries before qualifying!

DI: But Steven has made it 50 before DW!

DI: 49 so far - and DW's entry will make it a round 50 entrants!

DW: We have a Rookie of the Year contest! Good luck!

DW: 45 on the grid so far... with over 500 years of F1DT experience!

PL: Glad to see Chris Ranaldi on the grid following in his dad's footsteps. He keeps the team name going, as well.

DW: The Entry form will be open until the start of qualifying in Australia... 4am on Saturday morning!

DI: Good to see F1DT great Andrew in the fray this year - and he only needs a Cup and Commonwealth mini league win to complete a clean sweep of all the titles!

LB: How have I been doing this for 21 years!! And only a 15% rate of silverware!

DI: Unless there is another rookie entry Chris R has grabbed the first title of the year before they've even done the qualifying at Melbourne!

DI: With 5 titles to his name Richard must be doing something right!

RB: Having spent the last 6 months working at the F1 exhibition in London I still have no idea what I am doing and just picked the 5 cheapest drivers and 3 cheapest constructors (again)

DI: Great to see another one of the "originals", Peter, in for 2025!

DI: Will we see a rush of entries when testing is finished?

DW: Over 200 years of F1DT experience already lined up on the grid...

DI: And Corinna is one of the original entrants!

DI: And now three more entrants including Corinna, who as won it all (bar Route-66)!

DI: One or in some cases more!

DI: And 8 of the 9 winners have picked up one of the "big 4" (Championship, Turner, Cup, Saucer)!

DI: 13 entrants so far - and all bar 4 are previous winners of something!

YZ: Here's hoping this year is better than before. Nando for P1.

DI: 7 entrants already - including the defending champion!

DW: The Skill Ratings for 2025 are available on the Analysis tab... so you can get planning! (The rest of the information on here is from last year whilst I redevelop some code)

DI: First race just over a month away!

DW: Some preliminary work underway for the new season... ratings to appear shortly.

DW: Two stars for new drivers is the usual rule... but time will tell.

DI: And the 2025 Driver line-up is complete (for the moment) with Hadjar - now we wait for DW's assessment of his "talent"!

DI: So it's Lawson to Red Bull - who knows what DW's Star Rating for him will be?

Lb: Great season. Bring on 2025!
